Several grass fires broke out in Oklahoma on Sunday. A helicopter pilot with News 9 flew overhead as wild horses escaped a fire near Ochelata on Monday morning.
The footage shows the horses crossing a stream with ranchers nearby to help.
It doesn’t appear that any of the horses were harmed.
The 11-square-mile fire was started by a single-vehicle crash, according to AP.
Oklahoma Forestry Services sent out bulldozer crews and water-carrying airplanes to prevent the fire from reaching homes.
