The Obama administration’s Health Insurance Marketplace, Healthcare.gov, was down again on Monday morning, saying too many visitors was slowing it down.
“We have a lot of visitors on the site right now. Please stay on this page,” reads a message posted on the site.
It added that “we’re working to make the experience better, and we don’t want you to lose your place in line. We’ll send you the login page as soon as we can.”
On Sunday, the website was down due to “technical difficulties.”
“We are experiencing technical difficulties and hope to have them resolved soon,” it said. “Please try again later.”
It added: “In a hurry? You might be able to apply faster at our Marketplace call center.”
Other technical issues have plagued the website since its inception earlier this month.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is slated to testify this week in front of a House committee about the outages and other issues related to the Affordable Care Act.
