Pennsylvania rockers Halestorm officially announced the title of their upcoming third album and their new single Monday, a day earlier than the original January 13 announcement. The upcoming record, Into The Wild Life, was recorded in Nashville last year and according to frontwoman Lzzy Hale, “It’s an invitation to all things Halestorm.”
In the days preceding to the announcement, the band provided a teaser on Facebook by releasing a letter each day of what would make up the album title.
Into The Wild Life is the highly anticipated follow up to 2012’s smash album The Strange Case Of..., whose single “Love Bites (S0 Do I)” won Halestorm their first Grammy in 2013 for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.”
The first single off Into The Wild Life is “Apocalyptic,” which has them sticking to their formula of singing about relationships and naughtiness, and providing a layer of country rock.
Halestorm has already provided their fans a taste of what to expect on the album with a second track “Mayhem” and “I Like It Heavy” which they’ve been playing live.

The album title and single was already posted on iTunes Sunday night where fans could hear a minute and thirty second sample of “Apocalyptic” and could pre-order the album.
The band, who is currently touring with country star Eric Church, will be embarking on its Into The Wild Life tour with The Pretty Reckless in April that will kick off in Nashville.
