The massive blizzard known as Snowzilla brought on by Storm Jonas hit many Americans by surprise, but several feet and even yards of snow is the norm in Russia’s Siberia.
In fact, the Siberian winter inspired mechanic Andrei Romanov, a resident of Omsk, to design this off-road “tank” to get through the snowdrifts. It took a month and a half for Andrei to transform a 25-year-old Lada Samara chassis into this rugged snow beast that he calls the ‘Т-21099’.
