Broadway Heavyweights Take the Stage in Illinois
Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Brian Stokes Mitchell will perform at the 2010 Ravinia Festival in Illinois next summer in a concert rendition of Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun.” The duo, with the help of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of Annie Oakley’s birth. The show goes on from August 13-15.

Singer/actress Jessica Simpson has lost her beloved 5-year-old Maltese-poodle. The star described witnessing a coyote snatch the pup on Twitter, saying, “My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!” She went on to attach a missing poster with a picture and e-mail address, reading, “reward offered.”
