Oprah Taking Over N.Y. in May
Queen of daytime TV Oprah Winfrey is taking over N.Y.C. May 7-9 for her “Live Your Best Life” weekend conference in honor of O Magazine’s 10th Anniversary.
The weekend agenda is jam-packed with seminars featuring Oprah’s frequent guests Suze Orman and Dr. Oz, and a “Night With Oprah” at Radio City. The final event will include a charity walk in N.Y. on May 9.

Joan Rivers Celebrates 20 Years on QVC
Iconic stand-up comedienne and fashion maven Joan Rivers, 76, celebrated her 20th anniversary this week, selling her line of cosmetic jewelry on cable shopping network QVC.
Joan’s outspoken quick wit is always on the money, even when selling her jackets, handbags, or costume jewelry at 1 a.m.
Most recently remembered for winning last season’s Trump reality show “Celebrity Apprentice”, Joan is also starring in a new reality TV series on TV Land called, “How'd You Get So Rich?,” which premiers its second season May 5 at 10 p.m.
Ailing Dennis Hopper Receives Star
On March 26 American born actor Dennis Hopper, 73, whose career has included sharing the big screen with James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and Giant, and more recent movies such as Speed, received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
Hopper is currently fighting advanced prostate cancer.
