A gold-plated Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 contains 55 pounds of the precious metal and will likely cost at least $7.5 million at a Dubai auction
CNBC reported that the car, which is considered the most expensive model car in the world, has gold, other precious metals, and gemstones on the car that are worth $2.64 million by the seller.
It also has a V12 engine that produces 700 horsepower.
However, according to CNBC, the car in Dubai is a prototype and isn’t ready for the road.
Guinness World Records says its the most expensive model car and it is housed in the most secure showcase.
Last year, an Aventador AU79 covered in gold was for sale for $550,000.
“When you combine the two you have a true piece of performing art which becomes a double whammy of the two highest valued commodities on the market today: gold and Lamborghinis,” Brett David, owner of Prestige Imports, told the Huffington Post.
