Global Q&A: ‘Who should be held responsible for the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 over Ukraine?’
Melbourne, Australia: Mike McCann, 64, Sales Manager: I think the rebels in Ukraine were responsible, but I’m pretty sure that the technology and the weapon came from Russia and thereby Russia has got to share some responsibility for supporting the rebel’s cause. It would appear as if they’re trying to take over more land, or a section of another country, and in this day and age I don’t agree that that should ever happen. Countries should have their right to their own sovereignty, and that should be retained, and one country should not be taking over another in 2014.
