Global Q&A: ‘What’s the most exciting environmental innovation you know about?’
Marbella (Málaga), Spain: Susana Lorenzo Segovia, 49, Lawyer: The topic of energy fascinates me because, as we already know, it is neither created nor destroyed—it’s only transformed. Photovoltaic energy, an environmental innovation, seems like a good idea for use in rural dwellings where general electricity isn’t available. Photovoltaic energy is solar radiation transformed into electricity. It is an endless, clean, renewable, and considerate with the environment. It reduces gas emissions and it’s self-sufficient. It excites me to think that we can protect our planet from climate change, fulfilling and carrying out our commitments for future generations.
