Gisele Bündchen Gives Jimmy Fallon Lesson: Strut-the-Runway 101

Updated:

Now that supermodel Gisele Bündchen has retired from the runway, perhaps Jimmy Fallon can replace her as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Bündchen appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on April 27, where she gave the funnyman a lesson on how to own the catwalk.

Dressed in black leather pants and a grey sweater, the former Victoria’s Secret model advised Fallon—and viewers—to “put the chest forward, squeeze the belly in, shake the hips,” and then began to effortlessly walk down the makeshift runway.

Then it was Fallon’s turn, with much encouragement from Bündchen.

Fallon, in blue sparkly heels began to sashay down the runway, until he suddenly stops—in need of a different tune. When band leader, Questlove plays a more robust beat, Fallon confidently struts and dances down the stage.

Gisele Bündchen also promoted her new self-titled book “Gisele” on the nightly broadcast. The book features over 300 photos of the beauty.

Now that she has retired from the runway, the Brazilian beauty is looking to devote more time to her children.

“I’m really focusing on being the best mom I can be and my family and just kind of taking this year as a sabbatical to see where my life will take me, just kind of see what the next 20 years are going to look like,” she admitted. “I’m just waiting to be inspired.”

The 35-year-old also shared that the opportunity to become a model almost passed her by, had it not been for the encouragement from her mother, Vania Nonnenmacher and friends.

At age 14, Bündchen preferred to be with her friends and was on her way to a park, similarly to “Six Flags” when a scout approached her mother and said, “Your daughter [Gisele] has the physique to be a model” and should go to an agency.

“I would not have been a model. I would have been eating a corn dog,” she said. “I went, and here I am 20 years later.”

Gisele Bündchen is married to NFL star Tom Brady and they have two children together.
