George Zimmerman, the ex-neighborhood watch volunteer was acquitted in the death of teen Trayvon Martin last year, isn’t dead.
A bogus report from a “satire” news site said that he killed himself while loading his gun.

NahaDaily has a disclaimer, which says its fake. It reads: “NahaDaily is completely fictional and is based off of current events in urban culture and entertainment. This is satire and parody.”
The bogus article says, in part: “911 first responders found George Zimmerman’s lifeless body at a Florida gun range after responding to an emergency call that he shot himself while loading his weapon.”
The article also includes fake quotes from a first responder, which says: “I’m not saying we took our time getting there, but we’ve shown up faster to black neighborhoods ... If he was a rapper he'd be more famous now that he’s dead, but nope! Everybody just glad he dead”
On Twitter and Facebook, users were confused.
“Yall know George Zimmerman died today right ?” For real?” one person wrote on Twitter on Monday night.
Added another a few minutes later: “Zimmerman died today ???”
Said another, “I saw that Zimmerman died today, by his own hand, with his own gun, by accident. Is that true?”
“I swear I didn’t know george Zimmerman died,” tweeted another person.
“He will get his. I promise just like zimmerman did. Died by his own gun. While the devil is at work. God is watching , the time will come,” wrote another.
