Gaga fingernail $12K: A black acrylic fingernail worn by performer and singer Lady Gaga during a concert in Dublin, Ireland last fall was sold in an auction for $12,000.
A crew member recovered the fingernail after the performance, according to the auction website, and a photograph of the singer shows that she’s missing the nail from the little finger of her left hand
The concert was during Gaga’s ‘The Born This Way Ball’ tour at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 15th September 2011.
The crew member said that “I noticed an object on the floor of the stage, which at first I thought was a guitar plectrum. When I picked it up, I saw it was an acrylic nail.”
Artfact auctioned the nail off to an unidentified fan, who also purchased some accompanying paraphernalia. The Daily Mail reports the fan lives in the United Kingdom.
