The question of the 2012 Formula One season is which driver, Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso or Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel, will win his third World Driver’s Championship first?

After Lewis Hamilton retired at Singapore and Alonso at Suzuka, the points race has come down to two drivers, four points apart, with five races left on the schedule.

Ferrari’s F2012 and Red Bull’s RB8 had issues early in the year and are now working wonderfully. Vettel and Alonso are the two best drivers in the series.

The pair will face off this weekend at Korea’s 3.5 mile, 18-turn Yeongam circuit. Fernando Alonso won the first Grand Prix there in 2010 after both Red Bulls failed to finish—Webber crashed in the pouring rain, and Vettel’s engine blew while he was leading the race.

Vettel won the 2011 race, which was mercifully dry, while Alonso finished sixth.

The Formula One Korean Grand Prix will air at 2 a.m. on Speed-TV. Live timing and scoring is available at formula1.com.
