JACKSON, Tenn. — The search for a 2-year-old boy who wandered away from his grandmother three days ago has been opened to law enforcement statewide.
Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday afternoon while walking in the woods in the Pinson community with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tom Mapes told The Jackson Sun (http://bit.ly/1JaN6JF) there was no update overnight. Use of civilian volunteers in the search has been temporarily suspended.
Law enforcement from multiple state and local agencies, as well as volunteers from across the mid-South, have been searching around the clock since he was reported missing.
Mapes said “much prayer” is needed for Noah’s safe return.

JACKSON, Tenn. — Officials are continuing to search for a missing 2-year-old boy in West Tennessee who wandered away from his grandmother.
Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday afternoon while walking in the woods in the Pinson community with his grandmother and sister.
The Jackson Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1P6JTwP ) the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has set up a command post at the Pinson Fire Station to assist in the search.
More than 300 volunteers showed up Friday night to aid in the search but no sign of the boy was found and it was called off around midnight.
Tom Mapes, public information officer for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, says searchers have found no clothing, footprints or blood. Search dogs have not been able to pick up a scent.
