A “final” poll carried out two days before the election shows that Hillary Clinton holds a four-point national lead over Donald Trump.

A national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows Clinton got 44 percent of the support of likely voters while Trump generated 40 percent. Gary Johnson is now at 6 percent, while Green Party’s Jill Stein got 2 percent.

In the middle of October, Clinton’s 4 percent lead shows that she dropped 7 points in the NBC/WSJ poll. That poll was taken right before FBI director James Comey announced his agency would re-open an investigation into Clinton’s email server. The mid-October poll was carried out right after leaked tapes showed Trump making lewd comments about women.

The latest poll was conducted between Nov. 3 and Nov. 5 of around 1,200 likely voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.73 percentage points.

The RealClearPolitics average, from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, shows Clinton at 46.6 percent and Trump at 44.8 percent.

The Journal noted that there “is a much higher level of post-election unease even than in the bitter 2000 fight between Democrat Al Gore and Republican George W. Bush.”

Clinton would have a somewhat broader appeal if she won the election, but around 46% said they would not be comfortable and would not be prepared to support her, the Journal reported.
