Tashfeen Malik, the female California shooter, pledged allegiance to the leader of the terror group ISIS on the same day she and her husband murdered 14 people and wounded 21 others.

That’s according to law enforcement sources cited by CNN. Sources said the same to NBC News. The news comes a day after officials said Malik’s husband Syed Farook may have been radicalized while in Saudi Arabia.

Jim Sciutto, CNN’s chief national security correspondent, says that Malik allegedly posted a note of support for ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, under a different account name on Facebook. An official familiar with the issue said it was posted “just before the attack.”

Several federal officials who investigated the electronic devices the Muslim attackers used gave the information to Sciutto.

Although not much is known about Malik, she was apparently never seen in public without her face obscured by a veil.

Investigators believe now that Farook was actually radicalized by Malik, reported Fox News. Law enforcement sources said that there was a “very strong” possibility that Malik functioned as Farook’s terror trainer.

Farook, was described by a devout Muslim by his father, who says Farook basically only went to work and prayed. But co-workers said he was peaceful until he returned from Saudi Arabia with his new wife.

Farook himself said on a dating profile he made before meeting Malik that he sought a life partner that was very religious.

ISIS is also known as Daesh, the Islamic State, and ISIL.

The terror group has not taken credit for the massacre, but has taken credit for many attacks over recent years, including the recent attacks in Paris.
