Reports on Tuesday say there’s tornado on the ground in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

It’s unclear if there was any damage done.

The tornado was spotted after 4:30 p.m. local time.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for the area.

It says:

“A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 5:15 pm EDT for northern Cumberland and southwestern Harnett counties. At 4:33 pm EDT, Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located over Fort Bragg, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Locations impacted include: Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Godwin, Pope Afb, Hope Mills, Spring Lake, Eastover, Wade, Falcon, Linden, Bonnie Doone, Timberlake and Anderson Creek.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 9:00 pm EDT Tuesday evening for Central North Carolina.”
