The father of a woman who went missing in Aruba 12 years ago is claiming that his family has new information on her disappearance.

Natalee Holloway disappeared in 2005 during a senior class trip to the island nation in May 2005 when she disappeared. Her body was never found, but her family believes that Dutchman Joran van der Sloot—who is serving time in a Peruvian prison for murdering a woman in 2010 in an unrelated case—is behind Holloway’s disappearance.

In the new “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway,” set to premiere on Aug. 19, the viewers will follow Dave Holloway as he attempts to figure out what happened to his daughter.

“Twelve years and we still have nothing—until now,” Dave told People magazine.

“This lead, we have a person who states that he was directly involved in disposing of Natalee’s remains,” he added.

He did not elaborate on the findings.

Last year, Natalee’s mother, Beth, told Today.com that “justice has not been served” in her daughter’s disappearance. “You’re never over feeling the loss of your loved one,” she added.

“Justice is being served for Stephany Flores, thank God,'' Holloway said, referring to the Peruvian woman who was slain by Van der Sloot. ”And he is in prison in Peru. But justice has not been served for Natalee.”

“That would be justice to me, to see him serve prison time in the United States. That would be justice for Natalee,” she said.

Van der Sloot also faces charges in the United States for allegedly extorting money from Holloway’s family in exchange for false information about her disappearance.
