NEW YORK—Subway riders on the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 lines will need to find alternative transport on weeknights next week.
The MTA’s FASTRACK program will take these lines out of service from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from June 11 through June 15.
All three of the lines will be shut down from Grand Central-42nd Street to Brooklyn Bridge due to extended track and station work.
The No. 4 train will not run at all between Grand Central and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Court; the No. 5 train will not run in Manhattan at all; and the Nos. 4 and 6 trains will run local between Grand Central and the Bronx.
Alternatives include the No. 3 line, which will make all four stops between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Court and New Lots Avenue, and the N, Q, R, lines, which can be accessed from Grand Central via the S line Shuttle, or at Lexington Avenue/59 Street.
