Emily Deschanel, the star of Bones, married writer-actor David Hornsby at a quiet wedding on Saturday.

The wedding was held in her hometown Los Angeles in the Pacific Palisades area, according to People Magazine, citing Deschanel’s representative.

The bride wore diamond hairpins and a pair of earrings by Neil Lane. 

The 33-year-old star is starring in the sixth season of Bones, which premiered on Sept. 23.

In current season, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are brought back together in a romantic relationship. There is a conflict of interest involved, as Brennan is doing research at the Makulu Islands and Booth is heading to Iraq, according to Deschanel’s official website.
Deschanel is working on The Perfect Family, a movie in which she portrays a Catholic mother named Shannon Cleary. The movie is set for release in 2012.

Hornsby is known for work on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FX.
