Elaine Teoh and Albert and Marie Rizk have been named as three victims feared dead after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down while flying over eastern Ukraine.
MH17 took off from Amsterdam and was en route to Kuala Lumpur.
Channel Nine reported that Teoh, 27, has been confirmed as being on the plane. She’s a student at Melbourne University.
Albert and Marie were also confirmed among the dead, reported The Age. They are believed to have been en route to Australia after a month-long vacation in Europe.
The couple has two children and have lived in the Sunbury area for over 20 years.

“Hume City councillor Jack Ogilvie, based in Sunbury, said he spoke on the phone with representatives from the Sunbury Lions Football Club, who told him the Rizks were understood to be on the flight,” The Age reported.
“They were supposed to come back today ... they didn’t make it,” he said. “We are all shaking our head in shock. They were fantastic people ... Albert was one of the guys who was always the life of the party.”
Malaysia Airlines says that 27 Australians were on board the flight, which had 283 passengers and 15 crew members.
There were 154 Dutch nationals on board as well as 43 Malaysians and 12 Indonesians.
23 Americans were reportedly on board but that hasn’t been confirmed by any official parties as of yet.
The United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Philippines, and Canada has been confirmed to have had persons on board. They are gradually being identified.
