Edison Elementary School in Tacoma, Washington has been evacuated on Friday after a reported gas leak. 

The school is between South Adler and South Pine Streets.

34 children and staff members are being treated on the scene while one staff member has been taken to a nearby hospital, reported the Tacoma News Tribune.

Students and staff arebegan complaining of headaches, dizziness, and nausea around 10 a.m. PDT, a spokesman told the Tribune.

Firefighters have fans set-up at the school and are testing the air to try to find the cause of the sickness.

School officials aren’t sure if school will be dismissed for the day or not.
