Eastern Early Leaders of HKFA premier league, GAS Head Yau Yee League

The first game of round 2 of the HKFA premier league (18 Sep) was between BC Rangers and Yuen Long at Kowloon Bay Park. After a goalless first half, BC Rangers took the lead in the 50th minute when Quentin Lendresse finished from a Hui Wang-fung cross, but Yuen long hit back for a draw when Yip Tze-chun equalised in time added on.

HONG KONG—The first game of round 2 of the HKFA premier league (18 Sep) was between BC Rangers and Yuen Long at Kowloon Bay Park. After a goalless first half, BC Rangers took the lead in the 50th minute when Quentin Lendresse finished from a Hui Wang-fung cross, but Yuen long hit back for a draw when Yip Tze-chun equalised in time added on.

On Saturday (Sep 19), Dreams Metro Gallery took on Hong Kong Pegasus at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground, whilst Eastern played Wong Tai Sin at Mongkok Stadium. In the first game, Hong Kong Pegasus took the lead in the 24th minute when Admir Adrovic headed in Joao Pereira’s free kick and a 1-nil half time lead. Lee Ka-yui added a second for Hong Kong Pegasus in the 63rd minute when he finished from an Adrovic pass, and Joao Pereira added a third in the 90th minute to wrap up a 3-nil victory.

Eastern won the game against Wong Tai Sin 1-nil, the game being settled in the 23rd minute when Andrew Barisic finished after Wong Chin-hung’s corner was flicked on at the near post.

Eastern head the table with 2 wins from 2 matches, but other teams have only played one game.

In the first division, Yau Tsim Mong won 3-nil against Tai Chung, Sun Hei drew 1-all against Tai Po, HKFC were 5-nil victors over Double Flower, Shatin were 5-3 victors over Kwai Tsing, Kwun Tong were 2-1 winners against Wanchai, and Lucky Mile were 2-nil winners against Metro Gallery Sun Source.

HKFC, Yau Tsim Mong and Citizen lead the table with 100% records and 9 points from 3 matches.

In the second division, Eastern District were 5-1 victors over Tuen Mun FC, Sparta Rotterdam Mutual drew 2-all with Tuen Mun, Sham Shui Po defeated Kwok Keung 1-nil, Kowloon City won 3-2 against Tung Sing, Tsuen Wan drew 2-all with Happy Valley, and Sai Kung won 3-1 against Kwong Wah.

Eastern and Sham Shui Po head the table with 2 wins from 2 matches.

In the third division, Rex Global North District were 3-1 victors against HKFYG, Hoi King won 1-nil against GFC Friends, Central and Western were 3-nil victors against Wing Go Fu Moon, St Joseph’s won 2-nil winners against King Mountain, Islands were 2-nil victors over KCC, Sun International were 2-1 victors over Fukien, and New Fair Kui Tan drew 3-all with Ornament.

Central and Western,St Josephs and Hoi King lead the early table with 100% records and 3 wins.

Yau Yee League
In the first division, GAS were 2-1 winners against KCC Dragons, Albion were 2-nil victors over Baker Tilly Spartans, The Store House Squadron won 3-2 against HKU70’s, Swiss XI defeated HKDC Mobsters 2-1, Wanderers drew nil-all with USRC, and Colts drew 1-all with Corinthians.

In the second division, Interglobo Colloids drew nil-all against The Store House Hearts, French Kiss were 2-nil victors over Antonhill, Azzurri won 3-1 against WYFC06, Boca Seniors were beaten 1-nil by IUSC (Tai Po), GGFC were 2-nil winners against University, and KCC Knights
were 1-nil victors over IES .

IUSC(Tai Po) head the early table with a 100% record after 3 rounds.
