EastEnders, one of the longest running soap operas about the everyday lives of the community in Albert Square of East-End in London, England is in its 29th year of filming but the plot just seems to thicken with each episode.

After her father, Ian Beale, uncovers her dark secret, one of the main characters of the show, Lucy Beale, gets murdered.
In an interview with RadioTimes, Hetti Bywater, who plays Lucy underlined the importance of the scene.
“It’s such a big deal for viewers because not only has Lucy been in the show for 20 years, it’s also that the whole Beale clan is so iconic - and that’s why it makes such a big impact,” she said.
With the murder of Beale there will be a return of actor John Partridge who played Christian Clarke, according to the British publication Mirror. Partridge will show up at the funeral scenes, where he will pay respects and support his sister Jane Beale, Lucy’s stepmother.
The last time Partridge’s character was seen was in November 2012.
The identity of the killer is set to be released during the show’s 30th anniversary episode in February 2015.
