An earthquake hit today just two miles from Idyllwild in California.
The 3.7 magnitude quake followed an earlier 3.3 quake near Berrego Springs.
The quake hit around 3:44 p.m. PDT and was also felt in Hemet and Palm Springs, according to the U.S. Geological Service.
It was 9 miles east-southeast of Valle Vista, 12 miles east-southeast of East Hemet, and 14 miles east-southeast of Hemet.
It hit at a depth of 12.1 miles.
