Earthquake Today Near Guam: No Tsunami Warning as of Yet

An earthquake struck today off the coast of Guam but no tsunami warning has been issued as of yet.

The 5.5 magnitude quake hit about 38 miles (61 kilometers) west of Agat Village.

The quake hit at a depth of 83.7 miles, which is relatively deep.

A quake at similar magnitude and depth shook the whole island in January 2012 but did little to no damage.
