A Dodgers-Diamondbacks brawl erupted on Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks got into a fight when Arizona’s Ian Kennedy hit Yasiel Puig of the Dodgers in the face with a pitch in the sixth inning, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The paper notes that Kennedy likely was not intentionally trying to hit him.
Later in the seventh inning, Kennedy hit Zack Greinke in the shoulder when the fight broke out
Dodger manager Don Mattingly told The Associated Press: “Everything happened so fast. It just gets a little crazy out there.”
The Dodgers eked out with a 5-3 win.
