Adding new life to a space isn’t always about redoing the entire room from top to bottom. Sometimes, a few simple updates can make a tremendous difference! If you’re short on time, but have big plans to redecorate your home, these five simple decorating tips can provide you with inspiration to inject some new life into your home.

1. Add a Collection of Vases

An assortment of vases on a table, countertop, or mantle is an instant way to add some color and style to a room. Group the vases by similar or contrasting colors; leave them empty, or put a few simple blooms in each. It’s an instant way to create a fresh new look.

2. Update the Lighting

Updating lighting doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as adding in some new lamps, or lighting fixtures. Consider updating your lampshades with fresh, new ones in fresh, modern colors.

Painting is a fun and simple way to update a room. The good news is that you don’t have to paint the entire room to make a difference; you could paint an accent wall as a focal point –a simple way to change a room’s dynamic.
