White House press secretary Jen Psaki gave details about the initiative on Tuesday after an email about the effort was leaked online. She said, “Today Dr. Fauci is doing five Q&A conversations on Instagram and Tiktok with Millennial mom influencers and Gen Z influencers.”
A new bill in Oregon allows high school students to graduate without proving they can read, write, or do math. The governor quietly signed the bill into law last month. An aide to the governor said that suspending the proficiency requirements for graduation would benefit Oregon’s “students of color.” The bill suspends the requirements while the state’s Department of Education conducts a review.
