New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is resigning amid a slew of scandals, from allegations of sexual harassment to the nursing home scandal. He'll leave office in 14 days. The Senate just passed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package, 69 votes to 30. It now goes to the House of Representatives where it faces an uncertain future. Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she won’t take up the bipartisan bill until the Senate passes the larger social and environmental infrastructure package. Senate Democrats already forging ahead, moving to take up that $3.5 trillion budget resolution. They say it invests in families, climate, health care, and jobs. That’s a concern for many college officials as the school year fast approaches. Faculty at dozens of schools across the country tell The Associated Press they’re worried about how easy it is to get fake vaccine cards.
