ORLANDO, Fla.—A medical examiner has ruled as accidental the death of a man who fell from an elevated tram at Orlando International Airport last month.
The medical examiner in Orlando released a report Monday showing that 32-year-old Adam Lee died from blunt trauma to the head.
Lee was one of four people aboard the tram during an early morning maintenance run last month.
An employee of Bombardier Transportation, which operates the tram, had allowed Lee to drive the tram. Officials say he wasn’t supposed to be driving.
Officials say Lee took his hands off the controls, which triggered the emergency brake system.
Lee flew through a windshield and fell more than a dozen feet below the track.
The autopsy report says Lee had fractures to his skull and internal bleeding.
Lee worked as a videographer in Orlando.
