Hollywood’s most enduring marriage might last a little while longer. Actors Danny DeVito (68) and his wife Rhea Perlman (64) are calling off a divorce and are getting back together. The couple had separated in October of 2012 after 30 years of marriage.

“Danny has been moving heaven and earth to win Rhea back; and it has worked,” a source close to the couple told RadarOnline March 15.

“He pampered her with spa treatments, took her out for expensive dinners and made sure she felt special again.”

According to media reports, Rhea Perlman felt neglected while DeVito was working on his last film “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

DeVito, who starred in the classic 1978 NBC sitcom “Taxi”together with Perlman—and movies such as “Pulp Fiction” and “Batman Returns,” apparently could not live without Perlman whom he had met 1972 on Broadway.

He told TMZ in December 2012 about his life as a single: “It’s not something you adjust to … Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together.”

So he tried to make amends to salvage the 40-year relationship with three children. “He knows she loves spa treatments, so he’s paid for her and a friend to take a week-long break, all expenses paid, and told her to get whatever treatments she wants,” the source told RadarOnline. Perlman was “delighted” about the gesture.

Another source close to the couple told People Magazine March 15: “They love each other; always have and always will.”
