Place kicker Dan Bailey hit a 28-yard field goal as time ran out to power the Dallas Cowboys (7-4) past the Miami Dolphins (3-8) 20-19 Thursday afternoon at Cowboys Stadium. The win was the fourth in a row for America’s team while the loss snapped Miami’s three-game winning streak.
Miami hit four field goals of their own but was unable to score a touchdown in any of their four chances inside the red zone. Brandon Marshall led the team with 103 receiving yards, including a 35-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Matt Moore. Moore tallied 288 passing yards on the day and completed 19/32 passes without turning the ball over.
Dallas Wide receiver Laurent Robinson hauled in two scores among his team-high seven catches while rookie running back DeMarco Murray ran for 87 yards on 22 carries. Quarterback Tony Romo threw for 226 yards but was picked off twice.
