Courtney Love’s character, a preschool teacher, is set to be introduced in Sons of Anarchy season 7, episode 4 on September 30.

Love, 50, perhaps the biggest casting this season alongside Marilyn Manson, will be playing Ms. Harrison, who teaches Jax’s son Abel.

She appears for the first time in episode 4, which is titled “Pretty Little Lambs.”

Carter Matt notes that there are some concerns for the safety of Ms. Harrison.

“For one, her character is going to be responsible in part for looking after Abel, and you know just how much that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Gemma (Katey Sagal) want to protect the child … basically to the point where they are willing to do unspeakable things to other people in order to make that happen,” it said.

“In addition to that, Gemma’s going to be coming face-to-face with her for at least the moment above in this episode, so let’s hope that either Ms. Harrison will say nothing that upsets Gemma, or that someone has all of the cutlery put away.”

TVLine previously reported that Ms. Harrison will take a special interest in Abel, sparking “an interesting reaction from the boy’s mother Wendy.”

It’s unclear how many episodes Love will appear in, but it did say that her arc is multiple episodes.

Love hasn’t discussed the role much, but did thank Katey Segal via Twitter earlier this month. “Gracious lady @KateySagal so gracious. Thank you so much #SOA #SAMCRO,” she said.

She also told CTV that acting helps her stay in control.

“I'll never outgrow it (music), but acting offers a better lifestyle at my age,” she said.

“I have to show up early, act responsible and can’t be a brat.”

In other Love news, apparently her band “Hole” has gotten back together and hopes to start playing gigs in 2015.

“It’s more important for me to act right now than to play rock ‘n’ roll,” she told Paper.

“Me and Melissa and Patty and Eric have rehearsed a few times. In order to pull that off, we‘d have to make some music that’s relevant to now, and we’d have to get a modern producer. I’m not going to do the oldies circuit. My relationships with Melissa, Patty and Eric are all great. At this point in my life, no one is my enemy. Any grudges or issues with that past? I’m done with it.”
