Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande Team Up on ‘The Voice’ Finale

“Holograms are new technology that take time to perfect, and we believe with artists of this iconic caliber, it must be perfect. Whitney’s legacy and her devoted fans deserve perfection. After closely viewing the performance, we decided the hologram was not ready to air.”

It was a winning night for Aguilera as she became the first female coach to produce a show-winner in Alisan Porter. The “Beautiful” singer acknowledged her historic feat in an interview with Us Weekly

“It’s been a boys club since season one and I’m not one that hides my feelings or my opinions,” said Aguilera. “But I just have to say what it really proves to me this season by her taking that stage as a hardworking mom, with this gorgeous voice, because there are double standards out there and sometimes it’s not all fair, but tonight is a true victory for women and women that work hard and women that are mothers.”

Grande’s latest album, “Dangerous Woman” is available for purchase.
