Five people were pepper-sprayed by a demonstrator at a Donald Trump rally outside an Anaheim City Council meeting in California on April 26, police said.
The ruckus began a little after 4 p.m.—supporters waved U.S. flags and pro-Trump signs, which angered the anti-Trump opponents thus resulting in a shouting match between the two.
According to the Associated Press, no arrest were reported and there was no significant injuries in the Orange County community.
However, one opponent went to extremes by unleashing a hand-held pepper spray device on the pro-Trump crowd.
Five people, including two young girls ages 8 and 11, were pepper-sprayed, according to police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

Three were treated at the scene by paramedics, while two others did not require medical assistance, he said.
The unidentified man fled, and police are currently looking for him, Wyatt told Epoch Times.
Linda Reedy of Laguna Niguel, a member of the pro-Trump group, told the Los Angeles Times that the people in the Trump rally are “out of control.”
“I’m so sick of the anger in this country,” she said.
The uproar started due to an upcoming vote that was set to denounce Trump’s “divisive rhetoric” in a resolution that doesn’t reflect Anaheim’s “guiding principles of inclusiveness and kindness,” AP reported.

“Donald Trump has repeatedly attacked people of many races, religions and creeds,” the resolution stated, adding that Trump’s statements is “contrary” to the state and U.S. constitutions and “not being reflective of the City of Anaheim’s guiding principles,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
The council did not pass the resolution, voting 3 to 2 late Tuesday evening.
According to KTLA5, both little girls—who are set to be sisters—was crying hysterically. The older girl was placed on a gurney and hoisted into an ambulance, the station reports.
They were standing by a woman—later identified as the girls’ grandmother— wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat as paramedics came to the scene. The grandmother was also struck by the pepper-spray, the Register reported.
After the incident, “there were no further acts of violence between the two groups,” Wyatt said.
Trump is currently the front-runner for the Republican party after winning five state primaries on Tuesday.
