Actor Channing Tatum has an admirer in reporter Carly Fleischmann.
“Now even though I’m in love with you I do realize that you’re married,” she said to a laughing Tatum. She did add that her “lawyers [are] working on your divorce papers as we speak.”
Tatum is married to actress Jenna Dewan and the couple have an almost-3-year-old daughter, Everly.
Fleischmann is the host of YouTube series, “Speechless with Carly Fleischmann.” At age two she was diagnosed with autism and oromotor apraxia, which has resulted in needing a computer to speak. In the introductory segment of her video, Fleischmann acknowledged her difference from her peers, but also has accepted it.
“Nobody understands me—I want to be like every other kid,” the author said. “But I can’t. Because I am Carly.” The budding journalist hopes to one day steer her own talk show. Having Channing Tatum as a first guest isn’t too bad.
Fleischmann didn’t only flirt with the actor, but asked questions about the “Magic Mike” actor’s pre-Hollywood past as a male dancer.
“I know you were a stripper growing up. How many girls at the end of the night would you take home?” she asked.
Tatum who clearly was caught off guard by the line of question, placing his head on the table, replied: “How many? At the end of one night? Some nights it was more than others.
“I wouldn’t let [my daughter] date any of them, only because they are totally different in ages and she’s only three,” when asked which of his acting peers would he grant permission to court Everly.
The hunky actor also admitted that his looks can be a hindrance.
“I find it hard to make people take me serious at all, ever,” said the 36-year-old actor. He does compliment his parents, saying, he is “very lucky that my parents are two good looking people.”
As the interview draws to an close, Fleischmann thanks Tatum “for this once in a lifetime interview” before saying: “My bags are at your house and I’m ready to move in!”
