California’s Orange County Declares Local Health Emergency Over New Coronavirus

Orange County, California, declared a local health emergency on Feb. 26 in response to the new coronavirus but said there are no confirmed cases in the county.

Orange County Health Officer Nichole Quick said at a press conference that the global outbreak of the coronavirus “is a rapidly evolving situation.”
