Bruce Springsteen Performs Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ in Brooklyn

Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to Prince a day after the pop superstar died.

Springsteen sang Prince’s “Purple Rain” in Brooklyn, while guitarist Nils Lofgren performed the guitar solo.

The Barclays Center was also lit with a purple light.

“Whenever I saw Prince, I left the show humbled. Prince Forever. God bless,” he told the crowd.

Springsteen has also paid tribute to David Bowie and Eagles member Glenn Frey on his tour.

He played “Rebel Rebel” by Bowie and “Take It Easy” by the Eagles.
