NEW YORK—The Brooklyn Public Library unveiled a new book-printing machine in its main branch at Grand Army Plaza on Wednesday. The Espresso Book Machine (EBM) will provide local authors with the capability to self-publish their works, and allow library patrons to print books from a database of more than 80 million titles.
When authors use the machine to print, bound, and trim professional-quality paperbacks, their works will then become part of the EspressNet, On Demand Books’ digital catalog available at 80 EBM locations worldwide.
