Running out of Valentines ideas? Skip the flowers and chocolates—get creative and go for a cockroach.

The New York Bronx Zoo is offering couples an opportunity to name a cockroach in honor of that special someone.

Flowers wilt, chocolates melt, but roaches are forever, notes the zoo on its website.

The naming offer doesn’t extend to just any species of the creepy crawler, but a Madagascar hissing roach. It is the largest and loudest of its kind, says the zoo.

The plan is simple. A $10 donation will allow one of the 58,000 of the zoo’s Madagascar hissing roaches to be named after a sweetheart.

will go toward the Wildlife Conservation Society.

It is a very simple method of showing “you’ve noticed how resilient, resourceful, and loyal that person is.”

“Or maybe it’s in recognition of your one and only’s virility, or strength in the face of high radiation,” says the zoo. “You’re not afraid to say, ‘Baby, you’re a roach!’”

The naming process isn’t just limited to loved ones. The zoo also suggests naming a roach after a not-so-special someone such as a hated boss, teacher, or television personality.
