BP Denies Gross Negligence in Oil Spill Trial

Oil major British Petroleum said will defend itself in court against “excessive” claims regarding the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The company faces charges of gross negligence that the Department of Justice, relevant states and private parties are bringing forward.
