You’ve all seen those “food hack” YouTube videos, and they oftentimes involve cooking eggs.
But here’s an odd twist on the genre.
NorthSurvival posted a clip of “how to cook an egg in a potato,” but it’s a pretty sketchy survival tip.
The Swede first cuts the top off a potato and hollows it out. Then, he pours the egg into the potato. After that, he puts matches in the potato and lights it on fire in a campfire.
After some time, he removes the potato, which is completely charred and black---totally inedible. The egg that was left inside looks totally disgusting and also probably inedible, but he eats it anyway.
If you’re in a survival situation and have a fire, an egg, and a potato, this might be pretty handy. However, it would probably be better to cook the egg using a frying pan or hard-boiling it. The same applies to the potato.
NorthSurvival, however, recently uploaded a gem DIY project: how to start a fire with a lemon, and it’s pretty cool.
