SEBRING, Fla.—Veteran race photographer Bill Kent offers this set of images from the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, March 19, 2016. The race started under overcast skies, was red-flagged for a few hours due to severe weather, and finished under dry conditions.

The #2 Extreme Speed Motorsports Ligier-Honda won the race, followed by the two Action Express Coyote-Corvettes. Pipo Derani, driving the winning car, took the lead only five minutes from the finish.

Corvette Racing’s #4 C7.R won in GT Le Mans, beating the pole-setting #25 BMW Team RLL M6 by only 2.8 seconds after 12 hours of racing.

The #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 won the GT Daytona class by 2.3 seconds over the #96 Turner BMW. In Prototype Challenge, the #54 Core Autosport Oreca beat the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Oreca by only 1.2 seconds.
