Former President Bill Clinton has congratulated President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday.

An aide to the 42nd president told CNN that he called Trump.

“President Clinton phoned President-elect Trump this afternoon,” the aide told the network. “During the brief call, President Clinton congratulated Mr. Trump and wished him well.”

Clinton spent part of the election season campaigning for his wife, stumping for her in a number of states. Trump frequently mentioned women who accused Clinton of sexual assault. The former president has not been charged with a crime in any of the cases.

Before the second debate, Trump invited three women who had accused Clinton. “Bill Clinton sexually assaulted innocent women,” Trump told a crowd at a Pennsylvania rally. “And Hillary Clinton attacked those women viciously.”

Former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush also reached out to Trump on Wednesday following his victory, ABC reported.

President Barack Obama also congratulated Trump as the two met at the White House on Thursday.

“I want to emphasize to you, Mr. President-elect, that we now are going to want to do everything we can to help you succeed because if you succeed, then the country succeeds,” Obama told Trump, according to a live stream of the meeting.

Neither Trump or Obama jabbed each other---like in previous years. Trump has long accused Obama of being a foreign national.

“I have great respect,” Trump said, speaking to Obama, according to the New York Times. “We discussed a lot of different situations, some wonderful, and some difficulties. I very much look forward to dealing with the president in the future, including counsel.”
