Apple made a big announcement at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. One of the biggest reveals was Apple’s new computer operating system.
As it expected the tech giant unveiled Apple OS X 10.10 update to the current operating system. Over big speculation how they going to name it, they announced that too. The name is OS X Yosemete and comes from California lovely Yosemite National Park which wrote some fun comments on their Twitter.“We invited you to check out Yosemite’s natural operating system. We’re good on a computer, but unmatched in person!”
The new updates will make your laptop or desktop look more like a smartphone. The new version is more similar to the iOS software that runs on iPhones and iPads. Also finding windows now appears more translucent meaning you can see the desktop wall paper while you have those boxes open. There are some other new features like there is much better syncing between SMS and the Mac desktop running iMessage and users can cue their iPhnes to make phone calls from Mac desktop.
OS X Yosemete is available for the developers now but won’t ship with laptops and desktops untill the fall.
