Amie Walker and Caleb Walker, Paul Walker’s sister and brother, along with the rest of the Walker family mourned the late actor and celebrated his life at his recent funeral.
The “Fast & Furious” series star died on November 30 after a fiery car crash.
Someone who attended the funeral at Forest Lawn Cemetery told Us Weekly that a few people got up and gave tributes to Walker.
“It was hard for many people to talk, they were in tears and couldn’t finish what they were saying,” the person said.
The service was about 40 minutes for the actor, who died at age 40.
“It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren’t ready to say goodbye,” the eyewitness continued. “His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn’t want to let go.”
A source told ShowBizSpy that everyone was in tears at the funeral, which was attended by family and some “Fast & Furious” cast and crew.
At the same time, the private funeral “was more of a celebration of his life than anything,” the source said.
After the funeral, a reception was held by Cheryl Walker, Paul’s mother, for immediate family and a few costars from “Fast & Furious.”
Only a few family members--Ashlie Walker, another of Paul’s sisters, and father Paul Walker Sr.--have spoken publicly since the death.
