European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström, urged the United States to grant visa-free access to the country for all members of the European Union.
As of today, Greek citizens will be able to travel freely to the United States without a visa, but there are four more EU-member states that are still subject to visa regulations: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, and Romania. Malmström hailed the U.S. decision over Greece and expressed her hope for a further progress in achieving equal rights for citizens on both sides of the Atlantic.
