Amanda Berry returns home: Berry was one of three women who were locked in a house for around a decade in Cleveland, Ohio. Berry returned home on May 8.
Berry was at one point reportedly going to discuss what happened, at least briefly, in public, but didn’t. Berry’s sister Beth Serrano told reporters that the family would at this time “request privacy, so my sister and niece and I can have time to recover.”
Neither of the other victims--Berry’s child, Michelle Knight, and Gina DeJesus--have spoken publicly as of yet.
Ariel Castro, who allegedly held the women in his home, was charged on May 8 with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape.
