Last week, the biggest American apparel and footwear organization had enough of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. selling counterfeit products on its Chinese online shopping platform Taobao and complained bitterly to the U.S. Trade representative (USTR) in a letter.

“Alibaba is either not capable of or interested in addressing this problem,” it stated in the letter by the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA).
